How do you listen to music with friends on Discord? Set up a Turntable LIVE chat room!

Here's a step-by-step on how to get started!

• To DJ on Turntable LIVE go to www.tt.live or download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Create your account.

• Once your account is created, click on settings (top right corner) and scroll to the bottom to sign in to Spotify Premium or Apple Music if you pay for a digital streaming platform. If not, you can choose Soundcloud or Youtube for free.

  

• Create your dance floor or join a dance floor on the tt.live front page

• Start browsing for music on the left side of the screen and add songs to your queue.

  

• You can import playlists you've already created from your chosen digital streaming platform directly into your queue.

• Click the PLAY MUSIC BUTTON above the stage to hop on and start DJing with your friends!

• Share the room by pinning the URL at the top of your Discord server

Turntable LIVE is the easiest and most fun way to share and discover new music online. It pairs nicely with discord, as you can notify friends when you're hopping into a room in your Discord server and meet in the Hangout. Turntable LIVE is an extension of your online community, built exclusively for streaming music.

• Go to tt.live and make an account. Then, you can email artists@tt.live to get verified as an artist on Turntable.

• Create your dance floor that uses your artist name or a name that your fan community is familiar with. Email amanda@tt.live if you want your dance floor featured on the front page.

• Create a playlist or upload your music to tt.live.

• Hop on stage :)

• Make a schedule and share it with your community by making a simple graphic that you can post anywhere. Let your fans know when you will be LIVE on Turntable, and try to be consistent!

  • If your fans see that you are always online at times, you promise they will keep coming back for the chance to interact with you and hear what music you're playing.

  • The more you go LIVE on tt.live, the more your fans will show up, and the more new fans you will meet through Turntable.

  • All you have to do is load up a playlist, press play, and respond in the chat.

• Host themed or specific events on Turntable.

  • Example schedule:

    • Tuesdays 3-4 pm: LIVE AMA

    • Thursdays 5-6 pm: fans can get on stage and play samples of their music, and you give feedback.

    • Saturdays 8-9 pm: Listen through a playlist you updated or tracks you're into right now.

• Post on your Instagram and Discord every time you go LIVE on Turntable. Remind your fans to follow you on Turntable by clicking on your avatar and following.

• Host shows in collaboration with the Turntable creative team to have your show advertised on the Turntable official social accounts.
